OMB Valves group
The OMB Valves group, headquartered in Cenate Sotto, Bergamo, Italy, is a diversified manufacturer of valves for the energy industries.
Founded by Mr. Roberto Brevi in 1973, OMB is a family owned and operated group which has become a globally recognised manufacturer of forged steel valves with manufacturing operations in Europe, Asia and Middle East supported by a worldwide distribution network.
The OMB group has expert knowledge and experience in design and manufacture of valves for the hydrocarbon and petrochemical processing plants, oil and gas off-shore and on-shore production and transportation and the energy market.
Combining the forged steel valves and the ball valves (formerly Fluicon) divisions the current plant was expanded in 2008 and is still growing, from today's 22,000 sqm. to the planned 35,000 when the contruction activities will be over in 2010.
The plant is equipped with large OD machining units and test facilities handling valves up to 60”. Cenate Sotto is conveniently located 220 Km from the major northern Italian seaports of Genoa and Venice, with 100 km from the intercontinental airport of Milan Malpensa, and closer to Linate and Orio Al Serio regional airports.

WHERE:
OMB Valves has two manufacturing units in its historical home base in Cenate Sotto in the province of Bergamo, 50km from Milan. The OMB division is the base for the forged steel valves production with a 2,000 sqm office complex and a 9,000 sqm factory. The Fluicon division has 11,000 sqm inclusive of the newly opened logistic center. Two new buiildings are in construction during 2009 and 2010: these buildings will house the new ball valves plant and will bring the total covered area to 35,000 sqm.
OMB valves (Asia) Pte Ltd, in Singapore, was founded in 1994 and operates in a wholly owned premises since 2006. The 1,000 sqm plant is located in the Woodlands industrial area, in the northern part of Singapore with access to one of the world leading port infrastructure.
IVM-OMB Saudi Ltd. is a licensed manufacturing plant started in 2003 in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia to meet the growing demands of the local end-users for maintenance and projects while providing local content in its manufacturing activities. The plant has been recently expanded to accomodate the production of flaoting and trunnion mounted ball valves and new manufacturing equipment.
OMB Valves (Malaysia) is a representative office specialized in ball valves handling the project work in South East Asia.
OMB Valves (Americas) is a representative office of OMB’s two divisions managing the group distribution networks and project activities in North America with offices in Montreal and Houston.
OMB Valves (Japan) is a newly (2009) open representative office of OMB’s in Japan, covering both the export market of local EPCs and the domestic market of OMB products.
OMB Valves (Korea) is a newly (2010) open representative office of OMB’s in Korea, covering both the export market of local EPCs and the domestic market.
