SK E&C of Korea award OMB valves an order for forged steels valves for KOC New BS-132 and Enhancement of BS-131 project Minimize

OMB Valves s.p.a. was awarded an order for the supply of forged steel valves in varius classes and material by SK E&C, the Korean EPC company, for the Kuwait Oil Company New BS-132 project.
SK Engineering & Construction was awarded the biggest oil and gas construction deal to be completed in Kuwait for 4 years in a September bid round.
The contract covers the construction of a booster station, BS-132 with a single gas train of 250 million cubic feet per day including high and low pressure compressors, each with a separate gas turbine driver and a gas dehydration unit. Booster station 132 will work in tandem with an existing booster station 131 drawing gas from gathering centers 15, 23, 24 and 25, and redistributing it countrywide. The contract also involves enhancing booster station 131 by installing low pressure and high pressure separators and flaring systems.
OMB scope of work includes forged steel valves to API602 in various materials including UNS N08926.
OMB scope of supply include trunnion mounted ball valves with pneumatic and hydraulic actuators which will be manufacturer at OMB plant in Cenate Sotto, Italy.
