Technip Italy awarded OMB Valves an order for On-Off ball valves for the SATORP Jubail Refinery Project Minimize

Technip will use OMB On-Off ball valves for the two turnkey contracts from Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP) for two packages which are part of a grassroots refinery to be built at the Jubail industrial area in Saudi Arabia.

The processing capacity of the full conversion refinery is 400,000 barrels per stream day of Arabian heavy crude oil. 700,000 tons per year (t/y) of paraxylene, 140,000 t/y of benzene, and 200,000 t/y of polymer-grade propylene will also be produced.

The project encompasses engineering, procurement and construction of the hydro and catalytic cracking conversion process units and also utility units with interconnecting network and process control system of the entire refinery.

These projects will be implemented in Technip’s operating centers in Rome, Italy and Paris, France.

OMB scope of supply include trunnion mounted ball valves with pneumatic and hydraulic actuators which will be manufacturer at OMB plant in Cenate Sotto, Italy.
