Tecnicas Reunidas selected OMB and IVM floating and trunnion mounted ball valves for the construction of the SATORP refinery, under development in the industrial town of Jubail.

SATORP is the new Joint Venture between Saudi Aramco and Total of France which is building a world scale new export refinery in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 

The award comes after a number of similar orders by various EPC contractors managing different units of the new refinery such as Technip of Italy and France and Daelim of Korea.

 

IVM and OMB cooperate since IVM founding in 2000 with a Know how license agreement which include forged steel valves, floating ball valves and trunnion mounted ball valves.

 

Scope of the work for the Tecnicas Reunidas order will be the supply of floating and trunnion mounted ball valves which will be assembled and tested in the new 3000 sqm plant opened by IVM in Al Khobar in 2010
