Technip selects OMB valves for Neste Oil 430 Mgy next-generation biodiesel plant in Singapore

Technip Rome operations has selected OMB forged steel valves for the $800 million project in construction at Singapore Jurong Island: the plant will be the world’s largest biodiesel plant. The plant would be completed by the end of 2010, and will use palm oil certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).
OMB will supply valves in special design and high alloy materials from its plant in Bergamo.

With this order OMB expand its references in the field of alternative energy sources after the successful order for the solar power plant in BaoDing (PRC) and various Waste Recycling plants in Italy.
