OMB Valves is founded by Dr. Roberto Brevi.

Introduction of a new line of forged ball valves, targeting the offshore sector.

First international office in Houston, TX.

OMB Asia Pte Ltd established in Singapore, focused on forged steel valves to service the growing Asian market. Since its starting, all forgings and components are sourced only in Italy.

Acquisition of Calobri, a manufacturer of forged steel valves based in Milan, Italy, founded in 1948. Specialized in engineered valves for the North Sea offshore market.

Founding of Industrial Valve Manufacturer (IVM), OMB licensee. First fully integrated manufacturing plant of forged and ball valves to operate in the country with the approval of Saudi Aramco.

Founding of Fluicon. A 100% owned subsidiary devoted to the development of the Triple Offset Butterfly valve line.

Opening of OMB Valves inc. plant in Stafford, TX, USA to support the group’s growing business in the Americas.

Acquisition of Vogt Valves from Flowserve. Manufacturing activities relocated from India to Stafford, TX with an expanded product line. Supply base moved to Italy and the USA.

Merger of Calobri plant into Vogt Valves s.r.l. Addition of API600, API6D, and API6A products to the Vogt product line.

Founding of BUTI Reaserch, 100% owned subsidiary focused on R&D activities for all of the OMB group companies. Development of new technologies in deep cryogenics for the Aerospace sector and specialty gas. 

Acquisition of BEL Valves srl in Corsico, Milan, adding a new line of Pipeline Gate valves and engineered ball valves.

Acquisition Nencini S.r.l in Siena, Italy, manufacturer of valves for the water sector,  to expand the product offering in the renewable energy market.

Acquired a new plant in Rescaldina, Milan, with a total area of 80,000 sqm to expand production capacity.
